Payments & Refunds

Revisions & Changes
  • I accept Paypal ONLY.
  • I will INVOICE YOU. Do Not send the Artist payments unless otherwise requested. 
  • I will confirm the commission price before sending an Invoice.
  • Payment plans are accepted on commissions over $100 USD.
  • First Payment MUST be made before the work will be started. (50% of total)
  • Total Payment can be made as first payment, but is not required.
  • You will not be given a Commission slot until I have the first payment.
  • Payment cannot be made by a third party.
  • Final Payment MUST be made before the full final product will be sent to you.
  • USD currency payments only.

Permissions & Usage Rights

  • In accordance with international copyright laws, I, the artist, am the copyright holder of all works created by myself, commissioned or otherwise. Intellectual properties of characters, locations and situations depicted in the work created are property of their respective owners.
  • I grant the commissioner the non commercial licence to copy and distribute work commissioned by them. 
  • At no point, without discussion, do I, the artist, grant rights to post or distribute edited versions of the commissioned work. 
  • Unauthorized altering or recolouring of the Artist’s artwork is not permitted. This includes Colouring in line art or shading flat colour pieces by yourself or others not the Artist.
  • Re-posting the Artist’s artwork without proper credit and permission is not permitted.
  • Copyrights to commissioned work can be purchased from the artist.​
  • At each stage of any commission changes or edits may be needed for the product to fit with the final image the commissioner has in mind. To achieve this goal while being time conscious changes are limited at each stage of completion. If the commissioner needs further changes done after this number a fee will be required per change. 
  • I am not responsible for edits, changes or details not mentioned in the commission request or character's reference.
  • In digital drawings, digital paintings or illustrations the limits are fairly simple. 
  • Sketch - 1 complete redo or 1 major edits and 3 minor edits.
  • Lines - 1 major edits which do not affect the base sketch or 3 minor edits.
  • Flat colours - 1 major edits which do not affect the lines or 3 minor edits.
  • Shading - 5 minor edits.
  • Background - 1 major and 3 minor edits
  • A complete redo involves scraping what was there before and starting from the beginning again. A major edit would involve redrawing a whole limb or other significant part. A minor edit would involve redrawing a small area or tweaking what is there without redrawing it. 
  • Errors on the Artist’s behalf will not count towards the number of changes allowed above.

Turnaround

Turnaround times for commissions are heavily dependent on the commission type. These estimates are very rough and depend on how much work is currently on the Artist plate.
  • Sketch commissions; Roughly 1 month up to 3 months
  • Lined commissions; Roughly 2 months up to 5 months
  • Painted Commissions; Roughly 2 months up to 12 months
  • Colouring Service; Roughly 1 month up to 3 months
  • Reference Sheet Commissions; Roughly 3 months up to 12 months

Adoptable Usage Rights

  • By purchasing designs, adoptables or custom characters from me, you are purchasing my labour and a partial right to the design, adoptables or custom character. I retain ALL copyrights over my work, which include but are not limited to, right to redistribute, reproduce or use the image as a sample for sales, or self-promotion. 
  • I claim all rights to the IP, but I will not reuse/resell the design again for personal or commercial projects. (Unless it is reclaimed for any reason or I am commissioned to draw it with your permission.)
  • I reserve the right to refuse sale for any reason.
  • I reserve the right to reject your custom design inquiry for any reason.
  • I reserve the right to modify and resell any rejected/refunded designs to be sold at a later date.
  • Edits to the Adoptables or Designs, are not permitted unless the artist is asked ahead of time.
  • Edits may be made on the original art itself but the artist is to be asked ahead of time. (I am willing to make edits to all adoptable designs and characters I have sold for a small fee. Please ask.)
  • You may use designs purchased from me for any personal use that you please, including but not limited to icons, signatures, layouts, wallpapers, themes and personal site display. 
  • You may use designs purchased from me for any personal non commercial written story, personal role play, video game avatar (eg: Second Life), fursuit or other non commercial personal use. (If you are unsure please ask.)
  • You may not claim the work or the IP to be your own.
  • Client may not purchase an Adoptable design or character for the sole purpose or intent of, making it a closed species, using it for commercial work including Table Top Role Play Games, Video Games, Trading Cards, Trading Card Games, and other interactive media.
